We are recruiting Residential Support Worker- Bank / Senior Residential Support Workers- Bank.

Bank staff: Residential Support Worker / Senior Residential Support Worker – Newton-Le-Willows.

Residential Support Worker (some experience with Children & Young People) £13.50 per hour.

Senior Residential Support Worker (level 3/4 Children & Young Peoples Workforce) £15.50 per hour.

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Residential Support Worker to join our dynamic team as a Senior Bank Worker based in Newton-Le-Willows. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the well-being of our children and young people, offering them the support and guidance they need to thrive.

Your primary responsibilities will involve providing emotional support and fostering meaningful relationships with the children and young people in our care. You will play a crucial role in establishing clear boundaries and routines, creating a nurturing environment that they can genuinely consider their home.

As a Senior Bank Residential Support Worker, you will take an active interest in each child and young person’s individual needs and aspirations. Whether their passions lie in sports, cooking, music, or any other area, you will encourage and facilitate their development, helping them to discover and pursue their interests.

Empowering our children and young people to build confidence and self-esteem is fundamental to this role. Your influence will be instrumental in helping them realise their potential and fostering a positive outlook.

 

You will need:

An understanding of Children’s Home Regulations and Quality Standards.

Knowledge of Ofsted procedures and legislation.

Ability to lead a team on shift.

This is a role that requires a strong character and resolve.

 

You will require:

 

NVQ Level 3 Children & Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent (Relevant the Senior position only).

 

Able to work shift patterns and sleep-ins.

 

Two years’ experience working in a Children and Young Person’s setting (Relevant to the Senior role only).

 

The RSW position must have some experience in a care setting.

 

A full UK driving licence is essential.

The home is in a beautiful part of Newton, it is a four bedroomed property and will cater for two young people and children within an EBD setting. We have a great RM who has proved himself to be very successful within the children’s care sector who is very excited and enthusiastic to start with a great team behind him.
