Senior Residential Support Worker – Stockton Heath Warrington.
Salary: £36,000 per annum, including 2 sleeps every 6 days.
Profit Sharing Scheme.
We are seeking a dedicated Residential Support worker to join our dynamic team in Stockton Heath Warrington. In this pivotal role, you will not only be responsible for the well-being of our children & young people, but also serve as a mentor & role model for new team members offering them the support & guidance they need to thrive in their positions.
Your primary responsibilities will involve providing emotional support & fostering meaningful relationships with the children & young people in our care. You will play a crucial role in establishing clear boundaries & routines, creating a nurturing environment that they can genuinely consider as their home.
As a Senior Residential support worker, you will take an active interest in each child & young persons individual needs & aspirations.
Wether their passions lie in sports, cooking, music or any other area, you will encourage & facilitate their development helping them to discover & pursue their interests.
Empowering our children & young peolpe to build confidence & self esteem is fundamental to this role. Your influence will be instumental in helping them realise their potential & fostering a positive outlook.
You will need:
An understanding of Childrens Home Regulations & Quality Standards.
Knowledge of Ofsted procedures & legislation.
Ability to lead a team on shift.
This is a role that requires a strong character & reslove.
You will require:
NVQ Level 3/4 Children & Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent.
Able to work shift patterns & sleep-ins.
2 years experience working in a Children & Young Peoples setting.
Experience leading a shift.
Full UK driving licence.
